A hybrid between the flowerhorn cichlid and blood parrot cichlids. Our juveniles are a stockier version of the blood parrot cichlid with the flamboyant scarlet and steel mottling seen in flowerhorn cichlids.
A version of the popular flowerhorn cichlid recognized by its exceptionally red, bulbous head. Variability occurs amongst individuals but many will have a mottled pattern of purples and browns on their sides, set against a body with a red and green-silver gradient. Irises may be red in many individuals. A truly beautiful specimen when fully grown.
